Melinda Lemke And Jonathan Curtis Endorsed By WEAC.

Melinda Lemke and Jonathan Curtis, who are running together for the upcoming Wrightstown School Board Election, have been endorsed by the Wisconsin Education Association (WEAC), according to the organization’s website. According to their website, WEAC, also known as the Wisconsin Teacher’s Association, “advocates for great public education for the common good.”
WEAC promotes training courses for teachers and works to improve public education. Courses available on their website include topics such as advancing, “racial and social justice work in public schools” and, “Creating LGBTQ+ Inclusive Schools.”
According to anonymous Wrightstown parents, the head of Wrightstown Education Association, which is closely associated with WEAC, provided 5th graders with a worksheet that asked students to provide their preferred pronouns and whether or not these pronouns can be used in the classroom, with parents/guardians, and/or school faculty.
